Looks like you were overzealous with the editing and introduced some artefacts:

With portrait shoots the eyes always need to be sharp and clear. As the eyes surrounding has been over sharpened, the eye has more a "stoned glass" look. I suppose that if this is descendant from a RAW file, that you should do less editing.
