This paint effect happens, when a small sensor camera uses in camera processing to eliminate noise or to introduce a faux DOF. The picture as such is lovely, but such defect make it unusable for stock.

Hello @Giovanni5E9C , lovely photo. Two rules apply to landscape - woodland photography:

1: always use a smal aperture f/13+ to ensure that everything is in focus.

2: avoid too much sky. Even though the fog is lovely, it creates bright areas on your cameras sensor. The dark branches create a high contrast situation which results in a white halo and artifacts around the branches.
