photos are AI generated or camera taken pictures?

pleses clear me one thing ,  where there is written photos , illustrations , vectors, on the left side , 

the photos means they are actuall photos taken by camera or these are AI created ones ?

 

second things is if i am generating poples images through AI , should i select photos or illustration in the upload section ?

Your AI generated images can only be uploaded as file type "Photos" if they are photo-realistic; in other words they look like could have been taken with a camera. Read carefully the AI guidelibes on the Learn & Support help pages - link at the top of your contributor page.

"Photos" is Adobe stock's definition of photos. They can contain both, generative AI and real photos taken with a camera.

I understand that photos can be anything photo realistic. That includes real looking AI images. Illustrations are drawn images (also AI) which are not photo realistic.

you mean the AI images of people can be consider in PHOTOS section . i can select file type as PHOTOS , when i am uploading my content of AI images of Peoples ? right?

If you're asking such fundamental questions, I recommend that you read the users guide. Anything that looks like a camera picture is a photo, anything that looks like a mix of illustration and photo is an illustration. Both asset types may or may not have people pictured. Eg, a picture of a tree may as well be a photo, even if no people are in the picture.
