Hello
a question: concerning the photos rejected with the note: It is possible that elements protected by intellectual property appear in the image, description, title and / or keywords
if for example there are visible marks or recognizable people, is it possible to resubmit the photo after removing the marks or people ?? we also need a more banal title with less details on the name of the building for example ??. Ah !! if Adobe could accept Editioral images it would be less complicated!

Editorial images are a different use!

 

Yes, using a trademark as title or keywords will get your asset refused.

You can resubmit after correcting the faults. If there was a logo in the picture and the logo is photoshopped out, you can resubmit.

 

Just to say: IP protection can also be a colour scheme, like the green/yellow with John Deere Traktors.

 

Everything that can be identified needs a property release. Any person that can be identified needs a model release.

If the IP violations are clear and tangible and you can remove them completely then yes, as an exception you can submit the corrected version for a new review. Note, this should not be standard practice.

yes that's right. for example, i have good images of lisbon trams but these vehicles also carry advertising, in addition to passengers. I tried to erase the ads on the front. So I submitted two or three photos and they were accepted. but it takes time and it is not reality so it is disappointing. I will therefore abandon this retouching work. thank you for your reply

It really is no use looking for loopholes; getting these releases (or masking out where possible) is part of the cost of doing business. It comes from a strong knowledge, inside Adobe, of what will cause people to sue them. Adobe do not want to be sued, and you don't want it either because they would surely pass on the costs to you.

The important thing about all stock imagery is that it might be used by ANYONE for almost any purpose. For example in advertising a political party that a rights owner might not like; to sell a product that a rights owner might find embarrassing. A model might be represented as a criminal, or victim of crime or abuse. The subject or art might be mocked. It might become the face of a billion dollar product without paying anyone another cent. This is what rights holders are agreeing to with their releases. And it's what you are agreeing to as well, of course.
