Photos rejected due to technical issues

Hello, these two photos were rejected and I would like some feedback as to why they were rejected.

You need to bring down the highlights and open up the shadows.

However, your photo will still be rejected if you do not remove the writing on the back of the boat.

The 'beauty under the clouds' is overprocessed and there is 'speckling' in the sky.

The foreground is a bit too dark as well.

The 'boats' colour balance is wrong. It looks rather green. Aside from that, you'll have IP problems as well due to the writing on the boat!
