Question

Phots has AI generated checked but rejected for not being labeled as such

I am attaching two photos that were both submitted wth a model release for the girl and box checked for AI generated. One image has an AI-generated picture frame in the top left corner and the other has an AI -generated window half visible at the top. The animals are all purchased but maybe they were AI created? In any case, I DID check the box. Rejection reason "During our review, we found that it is likely to be generated by AI and not labelled as such. We can't accept your image into our collection without the label declaring it is a generative AI image." Not sure what else I am supposed to do.

Hi @ShannonFuller Photography ,

The images you create, do as Adobe says even if you did it the first time around, do it again. Sometimes there are glitches in the system. The images you purchase, if you want to keep your Adobe account, do not submit them. You must have rights to all the images you submit. Therefore, they must be your images. You do not have rights to other peoples work.

Best wishes

Thank you so much for the response. When I buy them from Etsy, I make sure they’re allowed to be used in commercial work. I did submit both these pictures twice with the AI box checked. (Thinking the same thing as you said that there just might be glitch in the system.)
if there’s nothing more to be done, I guess I will just give up on submitting these pictures.

"When I buy them from Etsy, I make sure they’re allowed to be used in commercial work"

But not according to Adobe's requirements:

Other Adobe Stock submission guidelines:
  • Do not submit content that is lifted from third party sites.

I'm assuming that means whether it's paid for or not, or if the third party site allows for commercial use.

The issues as you explained them aside:

You do not need to select the AI generated box for simple items added to an image, such as the frame

All additional assets (the animals), must be created by you and not purchased

Quality issues may also be involved, as the images are underexposed

What do you mean by "The animals are all purchased but maybe they were AI created"? You can't purchase someone else's assets then incorporate them into your assets for resale. You must own full rights to every asset that you submit to Adobe Stock.
