Hello,

Did you use the kit lens that came with the camera? I guess yes. I think for stock work, the lens probably isn't so good. The photos are rather 'soft'.

Look at 3rd party lenses - e.g. Tamron, Tokina, Sigma, or better quality Sony lenses. For 3rd party make sure the lens mount is the same!!

However, it might be better to invest in a more modern camera. And here the choice is wide!

If you want to get more involved in stock though, it is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme. Most people do this as a hobby.

Better equipment may help.  What kind of camera did you use?

Looking at the  frist two photos I have to agree that focus is the main issue. Also some IP issues and exposure is a problem.

I looked at the first two images. It is already noticeable at a view of 100% that hardly any details can be seen. At 200% it becomes quite clear. In addition, the highlights are blown out in the 2nd image.

What story is being told here - collectively and in individual pictures?  The focus is soft in most of them, and I am not left with any message or narrative that the photographer is trying to tell me.   How do you envisage them used in a commercial setting?  What is compelling me to want to explore the images in detail?   I am having difficulty understanding what you are trying to tell me whith these images, and images that don't convey a story are not suitable for Stock.
