Adobe doesn't accept editorial photos from general contributors. It has to be by invitation.

"Curated content

The following collections contain curated content. We currently accept content for these collections by invitation only:

  • Editorial photographs (not including Illustrative Editorial)
  • Premium
  • 3D assets
  • Templates for use directly in Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Motion Graphics Templates"

Some people think that by labelling "editorial" you can escape from the legal need to have model releases and property releases, because they aren't convenient. But that isn't how it works.

The customer decides how they will use the media -- commercially or editorially.  Your concern is with the legal, technical and content requirements for submission.
