So quick question here,

Kind of new to adobe stock, I would like to ask if it is okay to post the work I submit on adobe stock on my social media and portfolio. I think it is generally okay but just wanted to confirm to avoid any legal troubles.

Correct answer Abambo

Anytime you upload an asset of yours to Adobe stock for sale you stay owner of the data and you can still decide to upload that anywhere else. You can use the image on your social media account or even give away the asset for others to use for free. You keep ownership of the asset.

This is an old post, but for all readers!

Now, I wouldn't publish it on social media, especially when Instagram and all meta apps have a rule that they use all content to train their own AI for free. So, whatever you upload to Instagram, they use it to train AI. I'd rather stick to adding files to Adobe Stock + Shutterstock, at least they'll pay you partly for training AI machines.

But still, OP did ask if they can… and that is still true. It's always recommended to read the terms and conditions of the site where you do post your assets. If you post low-resolution, highly compressed assets, they will be barely usable for AI training.

And buyers will still post their assets to social media. They will even post acquired AI assets on social media, so social media will feed their AI with AI, which will result in poor quality.

Just to say: you can even upload the asset to a competitor's website ... Adobe does not claim the exclusive on your asset...
