Problem with my company’s Adobe Stock account

Hi,

After a first video file sale, I realized that the amount paid was not good.
I contacted Adobe Tax Team who told me that my Adobe Stock account was a personal account.

I answered that at the opening of the Adobe Stock account, I did mention that I was opening this account on the name of my company.

I asked what I could do to make my account my company account and not a personal account, but Adobe Tax Team no longer responds to my emails.

Who can tell me what to do?

Thank you for your answers.

For Alambo :

I sold a first video on November 25, 2022. The amount mentioned is US$ 52.14.

The price sold by Adobe is € 169.99 = US$ 178.81. The amount of royalties is 35% = US$ 62.58, not US$ 52,14.

Tax Team has nothing to do with this. Contributor support is who you should contact. Need help? (Stock Contributor Support)

You shouldn't compare $ and €, that will give you a wrong number. You are getting paid on the $ prices, regardless of the €, pound or whatever currency the user used to buy the asset. Currency fluctuations are on Adobe, except that you get paid in $, so for that, they are on you. Here are the royalties to expect:

Now all depends on whether you did your tax formalities or not. If you didn't do the formalities yet, Adobe will deduct 30% from your due for taxes.

As I understand it, one account is for one individual contributor only.   If your firm has other photographers who wish to contribute to Stock, they must create a separate account under their own name.

Adobe Stock Contributors User Guide

https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/submission-guidelines.html

"Understand copyright.

You must own or control all the rights to the files you submit to Adobe Stock. Don’t submit files that don’t belong to you, such as photos taken by your spouse. Don’t incorporate anything into your content that was created by someone else — not even images you got from a website that allows free downloads — unless you have a complete property release from the owner of the other content."

Hope that helps.

For Nancy :

I know this link very well and it does nothing to address my problem.

The problem is that the rules for creating a company account for Adobe Stock are not clear.
Again, I did mention that the account was opened in the name of my company, but I also gave my name as the legal officer of that company.
There is confusion between my company and me who is its leader.

I will try to change my profile settings.

Thank you for your answers

Cordialement.
