Problem with photo sharpness

I have a problem because when I send photos, when adding it, always a few photos lose quality and my photos are rejected due to lack of sharpness. More than once adds a particularly slightly blurred (1.8 aperture) but the photo looks in my opinion very nice and in Adobe Stock they reject.

I use a translator. Best regards

Hi @BulianoPhoto ,

Each platform has their own standards. You will find that many files rejected at Adobe are accepted elsewhere. You will also find the occasional times when the reverse take place - files rejected at one or more other platforms are accepted at Adobe.

Best wishes

You are welcome to post in your language, it may be easier for you and for us.

Please post the header of the refusal you got.

If you want us to look into your picture in detail, you need to post it here.

This makes no sense.

Anyhow, as stated here, uploaded pictures are in the quality as uploaded.

Hi @BulianoPhoto ,

It appears you are reluctant in posting your files here. If that is the case select your language and read through the entire article at this link; it's two pages. Follow the instruction to inspect your files to find the issues.

Regards

Jacquelin

Having a photo accepted by Shutterstock does not mean it will get accepted by Adobe. Or vice versa. This happens all of the time. Photos may loose sharpness when converting from RAW to Jpeg if the image size is reduced. This can happen with high resolution cameras if the Jpeg is smaller.

Just to clarify, a rejection for sharpness would fall under the blanket "Quality Issues" rejection reason.

I agree with @Test Screen Name, the exact reason can't possibly be known, that's not info Adobe provides.

It's not uncommon to have an asset accepted by one agency and not others.  I have some that have been rejected by Shutterstock and accepted by Adobe.

Feel free to upload the file here if you'd like us to take a look at it.  Make sure to use the same file.  A fresh set of eyes and a different perspective could be very helpful.  🙂

Again, how can you possibly say there is a problem with sharpness? You CANNOT SEE THIS. It's impossible if the files are rejected. Please give full details of why you believe this, since I do not see it as even possible. Prove me wrong.

I also sent it to shutterstock at the same time. And on shutterstock are these pictures ok, and again on Adobe the problem with sharpness

Photos are not changed when you submit them. And how would you even know, since Adobe do not give you back the photo? The little thumbnails are just so you know which photo is concerned, it is not what the reviewer sees. If Adobe rejects it for lack of sharpness, then that is how you submitted it.

Perhaps you have 1-3 files which were rejected for lack of sharpness, that you can share. Please check the rejection reason and tell us if it is more general - for example "quality issues".
