Qualitätsprobleme

Hallo zusammen, in letzter Zeit bin ich leider mit der Tatsache konfrontiert, dass hochgeladene Fotos relativ oft abgelehnt werden. Woran es liegt und was sich Adobe so alles ausgedacht hat ist mir ein Rätsel. Na ja, wenn sich etwas zu oft wiederholt, dann stellt man sich die Frage wie weiter... etc.

Ich bitte an dieser Stelle die Community um die Bewertung von 2 Fotos: P1270528.jpg - abgelehnt - Qualitätsprobleme. P13307767. jpg - nicht hochgeladen. Die Frage lautet, ob hier alle Qualitätskriterien erfüllt sind? Es ist sicher nicht etwas Aussergewöhnliches, was ich hochgeladen habe. Immerhin eine andere Meinung wäre sehr wertvoll für mich.

Und ein glückliches und erfolgreiches 2023 an alle, welche diese Zeilen gelesen haben.

If the bee is the subject of your photo, it is too small. If the flower and bee make-up the subject, too much is out of focus. Your composition could also improve. The bee itself do not appear very sharp.

The duck has artifacts. Here is a zoomed crop of its head where the artifacts is visible.

Thank you very much for the hints. In fact, a blur can be seen in the flowers and bees. Your remark is also true about the duck. Next time I will prepare better.

I really like the bee image, but I feel that the bee is not real sharp and a little underexposed. Also,, if viewed at 400% (I know) I can see a white halo around the bee.

I think that magnification should not be used to see small defects in an image. If they are not visible at 200%, I am not convinced that they play a role in any refusal. The picture is not all in sharp, but you would expect that if taken with reasonable lenses. You have flowers nearer to the lens, farer away. The bee is sharp. If you want to add “sharpness”, you can do by carefully adding Texture and Clarity, and some sharpness.

There are some blurry areas in the bee image, and overall it seems a bit lacking in contrast.

The duck image has a probably unrecoverable blownout highlight, which would most likely be rejected.

Did you check the histogram? I rechecked, and I do not see blown out highlights. I see, however difficult light situations, that would need careful editing.

I did not check the histogram earlier today, but did so just now; though it shows no higlight clipping, when you attempt to darken that area and inspect it when zoomed in, there is no feather detail at all.
