Hello! This is my first time posting here and I'd love honest feedback on why these two images were rejected for quality issues so I can improve my work and submissions. Can any one tell me why these two images were rejected?

The question is whether these pictures are supposed to be real or art work. If the egg and the orange are real photos of a real egg and a real orange,  I would expect that the egg yellow and the orange flesh looks really pristine and clear.  If on the other hand it is art work, then the egg yellow and the orange flesh appear fine, but the questions arises why the border line between the black background and the egg is not sharp.  A painter can create such sharp distinction. The orange is pretty good as artwork, but I feel the flesh part could be much more intricate in painting quality. Good luck.
