I am sure some kind person can tell my why this image fails on quality

There are a few blownout leaves. Is the background supposed to be pure black? It seems to be mottled in some areas.

Human Moderators are used, though there seems to be some evidence that at least a part of the process, particularly on AI assets, is done by an AI-driven algorithm.
