In addition to what's already been said about cluttered composition and white balance, the Histogram panel shows clipping of highlights & shadows. Sadly, those pixels are lost and can't be recovered. There's also some noise caused by shooting in low light or high ISO settings.
Two things come to my mind (which stand out like a sore thumb!) —composition and white balance. Regarding the composition, where is your focus point? Your framing has made the picture unbalanced. You have empty space in the middle! No focal point!
It could have been a great shot, but right away I feel an unnatural balance in your composition. The theme is clearly winter, but what's the focus of your photo, the tree trunk or the lamp? Can you see the lack of compositional harmony?
Im looking at it on my phone, so I can't really assess focus or exposure issues, but to me it's rejected solely on composition. Did you shoot other variations? If not, take it as the big lesson for this rejection. ALWAYS shoot more than you need, this will ensure you got the focus right and different compositions that will make your photo a great image.
