Question

Quality Issues

Sorry for my english, I’m italian, I’ve been publishing my photos in adobe stock since 2019 and I have about 900 photos in my portfolio, but the last 10 pictures have been rejected due to quality issues. My style is always the same, as the subjects, so I wonder why, it happened only a few times and now apparently they reject all the pictures.

Thanks for the help!

Cecilia

My first impression is too much saturation and the shadows need to be lightened up some.

    Hello,

Probably not good for stock. One could argue that they have too much saturation and the use of filters is a bit too much. Perhaps too much contrast as well.

Read your Contributor User Guide. It contains important information you need to know.

For your images to have commercial value, they should be well-composed, appropriately lit and exposed, well focused, and processed in an inconspicuous way. Natural looking photos sell well. Over processed photos don’t.

Before you submit, compare your best work with current Stock inventory. This is what you’re competing with.

    Hope that helps.

Very oversaturated, not good for stock photos. Looks more like Art. Dog supplies, or dog food, would not pick these photos.
