I'm confused about what the quality issues are for this pic.

As in your other post of the deer, the focus seems to be an issue. Both shots in this case are what can be described as 'soft', as this is most likely due to the lens.

Sharpening the pic may indeed help though. Some post-processing is usually necessary to refine the pic.
