I read Quality and technical issues in the Guidelines but I couldn't find exact reason why this picture isn't good enough.

For inforamtion: there is no editing, I only changed image size (is that considered as artifacting?). I need to find reasons so I can fix it on that picture and work on those issues for other images.

Hi,

it seems that the Image is overall a little dark and the main object (cat) is not as sharp as it could be.

Before you submit, please review the submission guidelines carefully and compare your work with other Stock inventory. To be accepted, your work should be as good or better than what's already represented in your keyword category.

Uneven lighting is the biggest problem and the cat's face is hidden.

In addition, Stock already has millions & millions of really crisp, well-lit cat photos for sale. Probably more than they need. You're competing with talented contributors in a very competitive keyword.

The cat could be brightened up a little. Also, I know the spots on the window were there to begin with, but they could be removed. Also, you might consider straightening the window on the left. It doesn't distort the cat to any degree that's noticeable.

Nearly all images need to be edited before uploading to Adobe stock. It would be extremely rare for an image to be perfect straight out of the camera.

Thanks! Any advice for this picture specifically?

Does it even have a potencial? Do I have to enhance it? Make it more contrasted or make it more bright? etc...

Hi @tjasaa ,

You cannot use this image for stock. Focus cannot be corrected with post processing. Ignore this image and make new photos for uploading.

You can get more information from the Stock Contributor Learn and Support about what Adobe is looking for.

Here are some tips to help you create better photos.

Hi @tjasaa ,

The file is underexposed, out of focus and noisy - both grain noise and chromatic noise.

You need to zoom in at between 100 and 200% to find the issues.
