Hi, looking for feedback, since I have not been able to find any natural looking skies from Adobe Stock when I try to do sky replacements in Photoshop, I figured I would upload my own taken with my drone, however these got rejected. I’ve compressed these just a little bit to fit as an attachment. However, they work much better for sky replacements than any of the ones Adobe provides in my opinion, so I’m hoping to make these available to other creators. Thanks!

Juan, I agree Photoshop’s skies aren’t great, but these aren't either, these are average that anyone can shoot with a smartphone. Focus on more dramatic skies to have a better chance to be accepted into the collection.

The other thing is that there’re are a ton of sky shots, getting them approve is easier than selling. I have probably sold a couple.

I mean, the amount of skies that in their library with blown out highlights or dust on the sensor is embarrassing. I really just needed some plain blue skies lol. I understand though if pretty vibrant sunsets are more attractive, they just aren’t very useful for my use case (sunny real estate photos).

My point is that you can shoot way better skies with your drone, and no it’s not about over saturation or over editing, just simple beautiful blue skies. I agree there’s a lot of assets that are sub standard, it’s probably shots submitted long ago, my comment is not to put down your work, simply that they are average.

What drone are you shooting with? I shoot a lot of 4k videos, my advice is that you put lots of emphasis on that.

Since a vast number of sky images have already been submitted, the review process is strict.
Images featuring only the sky are particularly likely to be rejected.
I believe your chances of passing the review are better if you include other elements, such as the ground or a cityscape, alongside the sky.

I'm getting that vibe.. Or I have to contrast and saturate the heck out of my images, which is exactly what I don't want as a sky replacement asset.

Think about it carefully.
What do users search for?
They search for the word "sky," right?
A search for "sky" yields 95,772,122 results.
Do you think a buyer would be able to find your asset among them?
That is why you need keywords other than "sky."
Thematic focus becomes important.
