Quality issues on vector file

Hello,

I had some vector files rejected due to quality issues. Even if I'm aware that my work may not be perfect, I consider myself quite meticulous, and I can affirm that none of the reasons given explain the rejection :

- I have no raster or bitmap image

- too much compression on jpg / antialiasing fonction / resolution : as we don't have to put a jpg anymore, it could not be that

The point is that I work with gradient mesh to create "reaslistic" looking vectors, and I suspect that it could have been mistaken with a raster image in my files...

I'm ok that sometimes my images may not meet the standards, but I'm used to having around 95% of my files accepted, and I put a lot of work in it for that. For some time now I've had around only 50% acceptance rate, wich is a bit frustrating regarding to the work I put in it.

So I ask myself if there is anything I can do for the attention of inspectors when I submit files ?

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Johan

Hi @He2 ,

I suggest you reinspect you files for fragment, open path or any other issues. The best practice information here is useful to refresh your memory on what to look for. The layer's panel can be useful when looking for fragments or empty layers.

If you've thoroughly inspected your files, zooming in to check details and checking the layers panel for unwanted fragment and other unwanted elements and all is well, resubmit. Since you did not submit a JPG copy, ignore what is said about that.

I too sometimes get that refusal. Occasionally it's fragments left in the drawing. Other times, nothing is wrong. I don't see your files, so I cannot say if it's the case for you.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Thank you for your reply.
I pay close attention to ensuring that my vectors conform to quality standards : no open path, no fragments or lonely / useless points, cleans path with the fewest points possible, organized layers and groups of objects, etc... Systematically check and recheck.
A rejection for lack of aesthetic or commercial appeal could have been legitimate. But from a technical quality standpoint, it seems inappropriate. Regarding to the facts that I usually had almost all my vectors accepted the past years, that my creative process has not changed and that I am facing rejections of several files at the same time, having very different subjects, I think that the point is elsewhere.
Have a nice day !

Johan

Unfortunately, no. Requesting special attention from a moderator as to reasons for rejection isn't possible.
