Quality issues only in category Landscapes

I uploaded 3 pix under the category landscapes and they were rejected for quality issues. Then I uplaoded the same images under the catergy of travel and the were accepted. So it was not a quality issue after all? This is not the first time that this happens.

Natural spread in apreciation of images: Images that are neither great nor bad on quality may pass or not, depending on multiple factors. It's not always rock science, where you can say that the asset should fail or pass because the formula says so. There is no formula. It is clear, that assets with errors will fail, but if the error is just a littls bit, should it fail or pass? That's where the spread jumps in. Some pass and some fail, and in an analysis, you can confirm that both choices where for reason.

It's also known as the "Bell Curve" or law of averages.

While some identical balls cascading down a wall will fall left or right, most will land in the middle.

I only submit landscapes, and I've never felt any rejections were unjustified.  Nor have I ever had a large number of rejections at one time.

It sounds to me like you had photos that were on the fence and could have gone either way.  One reviewer rejected them and another accepted them.  I highly doubt that it had anything to do with the genre you listed.

Acceptance doesn't mean a hill o' beans if nobody buys it.

Cream rises to the top.

Eventually you'll know whether or not they are Stock-worthy by how many sales they make for you.  😉

Good luck!

I belive "category" is irrelevant for quality issue since there are no specific requirements for each of them (only for type of file), It is likely that he was a less rigorous evaluator.

Anyway, this is not recommended, you could get your account banned for re-uploading already rejected photos.

agreed at all. That`s not correct to submit once refused image. Flowers are not in focus, all image are oversaturated, so accept with second attempt were human mistake.

This is the natural spread in images that may be objectionable or may be waved through.

"Natural Spread" - can you elaborate on this statement. It does not tell me much. Also, I'm wondering if in the category landscapes any buildings and manmade constructions will disqualify it?

Human moderators can be inconsistent. From the thumbnails I would conclude that all are over saturated, and the image you included here has artifacts in the sky, thus it should have been rejected.

one of my friends told me same story.

As you may know, Adobe will look at your images at 100%-400%. Many faults are only visible on the original image. Nothing can be said about quality from a thumbnail.
