Hello Everyone,

I was wondering why my pictures got rejected. Can someone help me out?

Best regards Chris

hello,

A couple of things to point out - lens flare:

2nd:

Did you edit these as HDR in Lightroom/Lightroom Classic/ Camera Raw, used an HDR monitor and then saved as JPG?

If so, it can be why the shadow areas appear darker/highlights brighter than what you edited on your screen.

Just wondering, as you have HDR in the file name.

(PS. I know this area!)

IMG_8686-Enhanced-NR-HDR.jpg - shadows could be lifted, and there's a person lurking on the right side that should, probably be removed

8689 The shadows could be opened up and the right and the left side is a little over-exposed. There is also some foliage at the bottom right that could be removed.

There are areas of the rock that are too bright.

The shadow areas are dark, so it would be better if they were a little brighter.
