Quality issues rejection

Hi,

I am publishing my first photos on a stock platform, and many things feel unfamiliar. What could be the reasons for rejecting this photo (exposure issues, soft focus, excessive filtering or artifacts/noise)? Too noisy in the upper right corner?? Something else?

Correct answer Abambo

Noise, black and white processing and you may also get later an IP refusal. The text in your quote is stock text and does not take reference to your asset, but names only some of the most often issues. You can ignore that, and you need to check your asset at 100% for any artefacts and issues, you will need to check the exposure (the histogram is your best friend there), and you will check sharpness.

Nice image.  But customers want full color images.

They can grayscale it after purchase if the project requires it.

Too much noise and the histogram has no white values. Also, monochrome is almost never approved.
