Question

Quality issues rejection, want some feedback

Hello,

I received a rejection due to quality issues, but I'm not sure why. The images I uploaded are of high quality, and I'm wondering if it might be because I included text. A similar style of image, without text, was approved, so I'm unsure if that's the issue.

Also, could you let me know if repeated rejections of my images would impact my account?

Thank you!

I would exclude the text, if the others were approved, then the text could be a problem; it does make it less marketable.

Stock is a global business.  Only a small percentage of customers use English as their primary language.  For this reason, I would lose the text.  Customers can add their own text and fonts after purchase.  You'll reach a wider audience that way.

... and you will avoid typos and senseless phrases.

"Godness to you & Easter" doesn't make sense....  also "Goodness & Happy"

And is it godness or goodness or goddess?

Whatever the reason for the rejection was, it was probably a quality issue and not the text. If you have typos, that's also a quality issue and will lead to a refusal. But the text pers se is not.

We need to see one or two full-sized examples as submitted in order to make a reasonable assessment.

Hi Danielle,

here is an example of size for the watercolor image. It's 1856*2624 px. File size 8.3MB.

Illustrations in AI such as these are always tough to comment on. There's a certain degree of randomness that I don't believe a human artist would include in their work. It's "cute" for personal use and has its place somewhere, but imperfections can arise that disqualify it for stock. For example, an illustrator would center the text perfectly in a case such as this, and there are small areas that seem unfinished or poorly rendered.
