Quality issues, whats wrong?

Hello, I've had a lot of rejected photos, and very few were accepted, despite the fact that the very fews that were accepted are similar to the ones that were rejected. I would like an honest critique of some of the pictures that were rejected, because I can´t understand the reason. The pictures below due to space limit are in low quality.

What is wrong?  Focus, framing, exposure & color balance.

I don't look at flowers anymore.  Your chances of selling one are almost zero. Too much current inventory exists. Nobody will ever see it.

The cookies look a bit drab to me.

Nice pooches but you have a lot of competition from other Dog/Bandana inventory.  Compare your work with what's already available in Stock. And then decide what you should do.

With a little work, I think the Tamales could get accepted. But you'll have to boost the light exposure and counter the blue tones with some warmth.

Good luck!

I just tried to check your pictures on my laptop. The pictures are too small for correct assessment on sharpness. The German shepherd is indeed underexposed. I also suspect a strong white balance problem.

Your second flower picture is even not sharp at this small size.

I didn't look into any of the other pictures, but I noticed that you did not include the sRGB colour profile as required. You assigned no profile. You really should pay attention to this, as this will largely influence the colour perception of your files.

You've posted too many images here... usually 2-3 will suffice. I'll comment on just a few.

The last 3, tamales, are a bit underexposed, perhaps over-saturated a bit, are poorly composed, and in some cases the depth of field is too shallow, causing too much of the image to be out of focus. Your compositions are all too cluttered, with parts of the plates and food objects cut off.
The flowers are all out of focus and perhaps oversaturated; and as @Nancy OShea said, don't even bother. Adobe Stock already has millions of technically perfect and beautiful floral images. Unless you find a rare species that is missing from the database, focus your attention elsewhere.

Thanks for your reply and your honesty, I will take in count your observations to improve my work.

Note: Those are not tamales, theye are a venezuelan christmas dish called hallaca, looks like tamales but are not tamales.

Hi,

I would assume that the Flowers for the most part are to dark and blurry in the Background, the dogs to dark in the shadows and to bright on the white fur and the food overall to shallow depth of field and to few details.

Before you submit, please review the submission guidelines carefully and compare your work with other Stock inventory.

I'm actually pretty aware that the flowers and dogs photos are over saturated markets, but this are pictures that I already had, and I prefer to publish them that only have them stored in my pc where nobody will see them. The most important part as a beginner in the stock for me, is to learn about their visual criteria, and in the dog and flowers photos I didn´t found any tecnical issue. They only accepted 1 picture.

I will take in count your opinion about the hallacas photos and re-edit them and try it again. Thanks for your critique and your time.

Dogs: underexposed (German shepherd) may be also not in focus. The eyes need to be crisp sharp.

Flowers: the heart of the flower must be razor sharp.
