quality problems

Hello,

many photos are rejected for "quality problems". Here are 2 axamples. Can you tell me what the problem is.

Hello,

In my eyes, I think you have a white balance issue in both photos. There is just a bit too much yellow, so this has to be reduced a bit.

E.g.

And you could balance out the exposure a bit more - tweak the curves just a bit.

I agree with @Jill_C on the noise, which I noticed this most in DSC08803.  The darks appear too dark in my opinion, and lifting them introduced more noise.  There were also blown out highlights in some crucial elements of the photo such as on the fabric the person is carrying.  I'm on the fence about sharpness, especially with DSC08790 in the shadow areas like the arms of the person.

I think this was shot in challenging harsh light and looking at your settings, I believe you did the best you could.  I hope you have better luck with light in the future!

Digital noise seems to be the issue.
