More often than not, images or videos produced for free are for personal use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes.

What are the best practices to increase the approval ratio?

Review all AI assets at a minimum of 200% prior to submission. 100% is usually fine for photographs, but the devil is in the details when it comes to AI.

Many of your questions require you simply jump in and learn through trial and error. Adobe Stock quality standards have greatly increased over the past year and even many veteran contributors are experiencing more rejections than previously, at least based on anecdotal evidence.

Which AI Platforms: depends what you want to do and how you plan to use the tools.

All AI content: you need to edit and refine the images/ videos. Essentially personalize your images. Firefly is commercially safe.

Free platforms: don’t know.
Upscaling Photoshop (PS) would be my choice. There is a learning curve w PS, Illustrator, and the other apps.
Generating images is not one and done. Rather generate: clean up and refine.

Photoshop PS for me is my go to for compositing and overall image cleanup.

Mistakes… that is a long list.
Before spending hours editing an image or video put a rough draft of the image/ video into Adobe Stock and see what comes up in the search.

Research: trending topics, events, and such.
