Question about “similar content” rejections and seamless loops

Hi,
I’d like to better understand how “similar content” is evaluated when submitting seamless video loops, especially in natural scenes (water, fog, smoke, landscapes).

In many cases, the value of the clip is not the subject itself but the perfect loop behavior, which may look visually similar in a thumbnail but is technically different.

My question is:
-Is the similarity check based mainly on visual appearance, or does it also consider loop structure and temporal behavior?
-Are seamless loops evaluated differently from standard video clips?

Any clarification would help contributors better decide when a variation is meaningful enough to submit.

Thanks in advance.

Among other things, the AI looks at commonly used keywords, titles & descriptions.  Subjects that are over-represented in Stock inventory are more likely to be flagged as ‘similar’ to existing content.

Thank you so much, Nancy...So it's all about a cross-match between semantics and content, right?

“I’d like to better understand how “similar content” is evaluated when submitting seamless video loops, especially in natural scenes (water, fog, smoke, landscapes).”

We would all like to better understand how similar content is evaluated. But since it is probably a decision made by AI, we have no insight into the algorithm used to make this determination outside of the likelihood that it’s based on the use of overused keywords repetitive titles already appearing in the database.

Not really, except to say that countless others are facing this same similar content rejection issue to one degree or another, whether they are contributing video, vectors, photographs, or AI.
