Question to allowed content for contributors

I’m new to selling photos and want to gain my first experience. After many hurdles, I finally registered a firm and created a contributor account with Adobe Stock (as a trial). With my first upload I immediately saw the warning: no recognizable people and no private property…

But every photo taken from the street can contain such elements… Is Adobe stricter than the usual panorama freedom rule in Europe (guaranteed by law) , or are they simply referring to those same regulations? Actually, every country may have its own rules. Should I take this Adobe warning literally, or can I upload everything that local laws allow?

What about landscape photos with villages in valleys? Those are also private property…

I really want to understand the restrictions to do not break them... Thanks!

Read the IP Guidelines in your Contributor User Guide. It's important to understand that everyone has a right to privacy, even in public spaces. You can take pictures of people, but you can't sell those images for commercial use unless you have legal permission to do so.

Adobe Stock requires that you own or have a license to all intellectual property rights in your content, including copyright, trademark, and trade dress. Submitting content that infringes on these rights or other third-party rights (like privacy or publicity rights) can lead to content removal or account termination.

If you plan to take photos in urban settings, bring along model & property release forms.  Or don't submit the photos to Stock.

Have you read the Quick start guide for Adobe Stock Contributors?
We recommend reading it in its entirety before submitting.

https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/user-guide.html

For photos of city streets, any text or logos on signs will be rejected.

Correct the images in Photoshop before submitting.

Also, some commercial facilities cannot be registered.

Ok, guys,  I think I get it. No Fotos, only artwork 😉.
Not sure about buildings, they all may be in private ownership, but I read it. With the persons I really agree. Cars ... ???
Ok, I will carefully read the rules. May be it is explained here.

thanks for answers, Leo

Cars, if not the main subject of the image (which would be an IP violation), need to have their license plate numbers obscured by some means and any noticeable logos removed.

You must adhere to Adobe's requirements, which can be stricter than is permitted in some countries. Street photographs need to be edited to remove all recognizable people and all signs and logos.
