"Hey everyone, I wanted to ask how far Shutterstock allows upscaling
and advanced retouching on original images. I have a series of photos/illustrations
that I slightly enlarged to meet the size requirements,
but I’m wondering if an AI-assisted upscale (not AI-generated) could be an issue.
Has anyone tried this before?" my goal is to be able to upload these images as "my ai", on adobe stock and shutterstock (which does not take images generated by ai), what do you think?

That’s a question for Shutterstock, not Adobe Stock. On Adobe Stock, if your images are above the minimum 4MP size limit, upscaling is probably not needed. But upscaling with AI does not mean your images were created with AI. You are welcome to upscale using AI upscalers without being required to label your submissions as AI.

thanks for your answer,

in fact I posted the question on this forum to avoid a rejection, or a ban,

especially on shutterstock anti ai (didn't find a shutterstock forum, sorry to post here 🙂

according to your answer, it would be better to ask support

but I imagine that the answers take a long time.

my decision will be not to publish my upscaled images.

for understanding, I use video editing software like after effects

in general only in hd for videos, because my computer is not very powerful,

and some images can be nice to sell too, but suddenly the resolution

is far from the 4 mb required. thanks for your help, have a nice day
