Hello, could you please help me understand why this photo was rejected?

Hello,

The photo is also very flat. I think you could add more contrast. Take a look at your histogram!

Zoom in and you can see pixelization in the sky.

It's a nice picture, and I think that carefully editing the picture, applying a bit of sharpness and contrast and curing the histogram will help.

 

In addition to what @Ricky336 and @Jill_C said, you need to look at the blouse and correct chromatic aberration. The sky shows signs of clipping.

 

There are also small things you could edit out:

The twisted string should have got adjusted during the session. I once had a whole series of pictures with a twisted tie. That was very embarrassing.
