Correct answer Abambo

You have a white border around the mountain, probably due to sharpening. 

 

In addition you have washed out details, typical for small sensor cameras. 

The picture above also shows the colour fringing typical to oversharpening.

 

You may also have a white balance issue, I would have to check that on my computer instead my iPad.

Hello,

You do have a small issue with white balance - it's too yellow/green.

The camera sensor size is ok as it is 'APS-C' .

I think you have oversharpened it - you are getting artifacts that occur when an image is too sharp.

In this image though, there is nothing to hold one's attention.

APS-C is indeed OK. The artefacts are caused then by too much noise reduction and oversharpening.
