Red dots in "New" folder, submit button greyed out – 40 files stuck, account in good standing

Hello Adobe Stock Contributor Support team,

I am a contributor with about 40 approved files in my portfolio. I am currently facing a technical issue that is preventing me from submitting new work.

1. The Problem:
I have uploaded 40 new files. They are all located in the "New" folder. Every single one of these files has a red dot next to it. The main blue "Submit" button (for sending files for review) is greyed out and inactive.

2. What I Have Already Checked (Files are ready):
I have opened several files individually. In the editing panel on the right, all the fields are filled in correctly:

  • Titles are provided.

  • Keywords are added.

  • Categories are selected.

  • The "Releases" section is set to "No release is needed" where applicable and saved.

  • My payment and tax information in my account is complete and verified.

3. Previous Troubleshooting I've Attempted:
Based on forum suggestions, I have already tried:

  • Opening a file, making a minor change (toggling the release option), and saving it again to "reset" the status – the red dot did not disappear.

  • Clearing browser cache and cookies.

  • Trying a different browser.

  • Attempting to find a "Contact Us" link in my portfolio footer, but only a "Feedback" link is visible. The "Contact Us" link I found led me to Billing Support.

4. The Billing Support Loop (Important):
I accidentally contacted Billing Support through the wrong link. They told me there are no active plans on my account (I understand I don't need a paid plan as a contributor) and that they cannot help with technical Contributor issues. They confirmed I need the correct Contributor Support team.

5. My Questions:

  • Could there be a hidden requirement or a missing field that is not visible to me on these files?

  • Is this a known system error or bug affecting my specific account?

  • How can I break out of the support loop and reach the correct team that can see Contributor account details?

I have 40 good files ready to go, and I am completely stuck. I have attached screenshots showing:

  1. A view of the "New" folder with the red dots.

  2. A screenshot of one file's metadata panel, showing all fields filled in (titles, keywords, etc.).

Please could you check my account from your end to see why the system is blocking the submission and showing these red dots? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

    Hi @Parlapapiu

The red dot is normal for all uploaded files that the metadata is not added for submission.

    Checks

Did you select the correct File type, Category and Language?

Did you check if the AI question is applicable to your file type?

Did you answer the legal question and submit releases when relevant. For files that the answer is “No” deselect by clicking on the Yes, then click on the ‘No” again to make sure your answer is registered on the website.

Did you fill in a Caption?

Make sure the number of keywords do not exceed 49.

Attempt to submit one file. If you do not have submitted files in Review, the Submit button should become active.

Try submit one file at first.

If you have submitted files waiting in Review, and the Submit button does not become active, wait another week or until the Review Folder becomes empty before attempting to submit again.

    Best wishes

    Jacquelin

Have you completed your Stock Contributor Application process?

Did you upload your tax forms?

Did you provide a verified PayPal, Payoneer or Skrill account for getting paid?

No screenshots came through with your post.

Show us what your dashboard looks like.

Stock has weekly and maximum submission limits.

If you’ve reached your weekly limit, wait 8 days for a reset.

If you’ve reached your maximum limit, wait until other assets are reviewed.

Open up the keyword section and inspect carefully. Are there are duplicates or blank fields?

The red dot means that they are not ready for submission. Make a screen shot of the right side of your “New” folder so that we can see what is missing. This might be the “Category”, the language, a problem with the title or a problem with keywords. The disabled “Submit” button is because, as a new contributor, your upload limit is reached or because nothing is ready for submission.
