Hi there. I just saw the new update regarding the "Redemption code program for Contributors" (last updated on Sep 22, 2026) at https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/payments-earnings/royalties-pricing/redemption-code-program.html, and I’m a bit bummed out because it looks like most of us contributors are going to be in a tough spot next year. If I understand correctly, they’re no longer offering the free one-year Photography plan based on download volume? And the conditions for the Creative Cloud Pro plan are really strict—it’s just a 70% or 40% discount. Anyway, I’d love to hear what others think about this. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Yes, I saw that today.  I post several hundred new images a year and Adobe sells 5,000+ of my images a year plus other images in their “free” program.  In previous years I got LR and PS for “free” and this past year I got the whole suite of products for free.   I believe the “old” program required 300 new images and 100+ sales ??   I am a landscape photographer so 1000+ quality new images in just a 6 month time frame would be a ton of images.    I may qualify for the 40% discount level, but this can’t be seen as anything other than a huge downgrade.  I probable make Adobe over 10k a year, and now they want to charge me for the tools I use to make them money…. Who though this was a good idea?  I already use Luminar Neo and Topaz products so maybe next year I’ll see if I can just dump the Adobe products all to together.     You have to wonder what discussions they were having where someone thought this was in any way going to be seen as “positive” with the contributor community.

Bean counters at the very top are making difficult budgetary decisions.

Everyone is having to make cutbacks due to the rough economy.
