    Hey @Huntly
Another thing to consider is having various formats available.

Creating a nice frame for someone/ business to put in their copy/ text for an ad or offer.

As already mentioned, pay attention to your edges. Consider using a tripod or a monopod to keep your camera steady. They are cheap enough to buy and as you sell more images you can invest in better equipment.

    Cheers

    Nate

Hi Nate, I really appreciate your input and thanks for the framing idea -I would not have even thought about it otherwise. :)

Stock customers expect commercial quality photos to use in professional projects.

This is what you’re competing with in Stock inventory.

    1. Plan your shots carefully.
    2. Take several exposures at different settings and focal distances.
    3. Edit in Photoshop or Lightroom.
    4. Chose 2-3 of your highest quality images to submit.

The photo is not sharp and is poorly cropped with the right side of the branch missing and several portions of branches around the edges. The histogram shows no blacks and no whites. Magnification shows some compression artifacts in the sky.

    A quick example.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. As I have done zero edits to the photos  and have set the best settings possible in camera, it seems I do have to buy a new camera and objectives. I am using very old and used camera atm.
