Question

Rejected by "Similar content in our collection". But using image search in Adobe, nothing similar

I noticed that there were more photos and images rejected by "Similar content in our collection". However, when I uploaded my photo to search in Adobe Stock, I didn't find anything similar at all, especially not real photos. Not sure how they decided  that there was a similar content in the collection. Even the photo has the same scenary. But weather, timing, color palette, lighting are all different. How could they said that there were the similar photos. If that would be the case, there would be only a few photos of Eiffel Tower in the collection, right. So weird.

B&W photos are not what Stock customers want.  Sorry.  Customers want full color images that are suitable for commercial use.  Posters, product packaging, TV ads, marketing, merchandise, etc.

If you're new to Adobe Stock, read your Contributor User Guide for more tips about what's expected.

Hope that helps.

pic852.jpg is quite over-saturated and also not sharply focused.

@RALPH_L, post about the monochrome images is correct, but it was probably a bot that (not "they") that decided your assets were similar to others in the database: See the last couple of line from this Adobe announcement:

1. We have expanded our moderation policies & platform: We are investing in both people and technology to scale moderation for the massive increase in weekly submissions. First, we have tripled the size of our moderation team. Second, we have introduced new technology to help evaluate new submissions and audit the existing collection against our new policies. This expanded auditing has resulted in the reclassification and removal of over 100K assets.

Adobe Community Expert | If you aren't submitting your assets in sRGB, you probably didn't read the rules.

The moderator selected the wrong rejection reason. Your photos should have been rejected for "quality". Monochrome is not allowed. The photos are too dark.
