Dear All,

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Could you please help me to understand the reason of rejection for the picture I have attached due to technical issue, so that I can improve.

Kind Regards,

VK

Correct answer RALPH_L

In addition to the noise and focus issues, if you view at 400%, you can see compression artifacts along thge edges of the trees and buildings where they meet the sky. Also the shadows are underexposed. The composition is also not very desireable. Too much sky and the wall in the foreground is slanted and cropped.

It's not in focus and shows signs of excessive in camera processing, typical for small sensor cameras.

Happy Christmas to you VK,

When I view the photo at 100% magnification, there is a lot of noise in the photo and very little in sharp focus.  It is especially noticeable on the trees in the left section where they have no definition at all and almost look like they were painted.  Your lack of focus is probably caused by your shallow depth of field.

I hope this helps,

-Rob
