Hello, I can't spot the reason why these three photos are rejected due to technical problems, please help.

How can I solve these problems?

Hello David,

My opinion - 1st picture - white balance and exposure and a few other tweeks you get this:

2nd picture - white balance, exposure... you get this:

3rd picture:

Also white balance and exposure and a few other tweeks:

This one looks like a photo of bush fire - hence the colour - but you still need to alter the white balance a bit and exposure.

Technical problems usually relate to white balance, contrast and saturation - apart from the lens reflections. In your case white balance is an issue I think. (As well as the lens reflections.)

I think, that your photos are to dark. I had the same problem. Try to raise the exposure in Lightroom for example.

A good start, but probably not enough. :-)

...and the first picture is definitely not too dark but has different other troubles.

The third one has white balance problems, contrast problems and lens reflection problems (circles):

The picture is overall to dark with some areas blown out because of the lights (arrows).

No need to be sorry! It's a learning curve. In my first weeks as a contributor I got many rejections and sometimes I needed 3 to 4 iterations to get my picture accepted. Some I simply gave up, because they were not fit for stock.

The second image has a white balance problem. It is to blueish.

In addition, you have a dark foreground and overall contrast is missing:

first picture:

you need absolutely to work the histogram:

there are big areas that are not covered, or a correctly exposed picture has a clean histogram stretching from one edge to the other...

You are missing also contrast and clarity.

The problem with the JPEG image is, when I rework it, I will introduce or amplify the noise level.

You need to post the picture here so that we may be able to analyse the picture.

Sometimes pictures do not load immediately. I suppose it is because you have added a lot of them. I see the pictures now. Let me have a look into them.
