Question

Rejected for "NON-COMPLIANT VECTOR" Why exactly?

Hi,

I'm new here and mostly submit vector art (svg files).  After some practice, I developed a strict procedure for making my vectors and had a high acceptance rate until recently.  I understand non-compliant vectors fall into many categories:  non compliant use of another artist’s name, Undeclared Generative AI Content, Content not compliant with overall guidelines, etc.  It's unclear to me what specifically is the problem.

I enjoy making wacky art and recently began focusing on major upcoming holidays.  Is it too soon to post Christmas vectors?  Am I being falsely flagged for AI vectors?  Are these too similar to preexisting images found elsewhere?

I'll include a few samples for review.

Thank you all

Hi @Aria30097489jyru ,

To answer your other questions: you can upload any subject at any time of the year.

You may also find some guidelines regarding submitting vector art here and here.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Hi @Aria30097489jyru ,

Your work may have been mistaken for generative AI. If these are your original vector files, meaning you did not copy another work, I would suggest you complete a property release form for each file, signing as the artist and owner. You can use the electronic form which makes it easier. I also suggest within the first 3 keywords include the word "vector".

Best wishes

I see others had work rejected for keywords or title.  I'll try that because I reviewed the guidelines and I'm still uncertain of the issue.

The refisal text is generic and enumerates only the most comon errors, which may nowadays be having undeclared generative AI. In no way that means that your asset is being generative AI. I'm on my iPad, and I can't check your assets, but the most comon issue I found with vector images are borders around the assets.

You mentioned "Undeclared Generative AI Content." Is this to say you used AI to assist in creating these? I don't see anything to indicate that you did, but Gen AI is not allowed with vectors.

Adobe Community Expert | If you aren't submitting your assets in sRGB, you probably didn't read the rules.
