Hello, I'm new to adobe stock and this photo has been rejected for quality issues. Can someone help me to understand why? Appreciate a lot!

The picture is out of focus, flower pictures need the focus on the blossom. It's also highly underexposed, as you can see in the histogram:

As for the negative space, that's a minor issue. I do not think that the picture would have gotten refused by that.

There are millions of flower picture in the database. You won't have a commercial success with flower pictures.

Too dark.  In the absence of ample light, your shutter needs a long exposure which leads to other problems (motion blur, fuzzy edges, noise, etc...)

Hello,

Generally, the image is too dark - underexposed. You can still have a dark background, but you need more light on the flowers.

I think the person downloading the image can crop to their own requirements, so it's good to leave some space around the flowers.

Hi @Rylee Teo ,

The photo is underexposed and not very sharp. There is a halo around the edge. Also, there is too much negative space.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

The flower is underexposed and there is too much empty space.
