Rejected for technical errors

Hi, One of my images was rejected due to technical errors (the first one attached) while another, very similar, was accepted (the second attached). Can you help me understand what the problem was?

    Hello laurar71458517 - It helps to see these two together. The rejection reasons are:  Adobe tends to reject one of two offerings that are this similar. Composition and space are different, some objects are left out of the one purchased. So there might be the bother of a known creative-artist wanting recognition for the Origami creations.

    The layout of the accepted photograph is better and has more available space for buyers to add their unique creations and words. Buyer will not have to do adjustments like moving stuff around and clearing cente. They may use this one right away.

    So, I must agree with the reviewer, the second one is worth the price, the first one - not so much. All of this boils down to technical things - there are several. Celebrate the sale. Do not send in two so similar photos, one will be rejected.

    Hello,

    Simple answer is your white balance. The first photo has rather a yellow colour cast, whereas the second (accepted) photo does not.

    Your first photo is a bit too yellow, so you have to reduce the colour temp a bit - take out some yellow e.g.

    Compare your rejected one to the accepted one.

    Notice that the wood colour in each photo has a different shade. The coffee cup in the second photo is whiter (inside bit) than the coffee cup in the first photo.

    The blue under the leaves also has a different shade to it between the two photos. The cast can be fixed by altering your white balance.

    Technical Issues include white balance - which is colour temperature.

      Hi laurar

      The rejection most likely is for poor composition. You have cropped across all the major items  with an empty middle.  Therefore there is no clear subject. In the case of the second which was accepted the artboard is clearly the main subject of the composition, thus was accepted. A buyer who wants the image of a nice artboard, pair of glasses, or case can extract that from the second photo.

      With regards similar images One may upload up to three different orientation of the same subject. If you did include the entire laptop and artboard in the first image it would not be rejected for technical issue. If you did switch places of the artboard and laptop of the second image, that would be accepted. However 2 of the exact similar images are not accepted.

      Rejection for similar images is not a technical issue. Similar images comes with the following wording:

      "Unfortunately, during our review we found that it's similar to another image(s) you've already uploaded, so we can't accept it into our collection."
