Rejected for technical problem?

Not sure why rejected - this is how the scene looked in reality (although with a zoom lens) as it was a warm sunset. Any reason why or way I could edit it to be acceptable? I shot it in raw so it should be an easy fix I know what to fix.

Hi,

I think the problems are the over-exposed areas in the sun, partly also in the clouds and the light reflections in the lower part of the power lines. In Camera Raw, some of this can easily be corrected. I also think the depths in the foreground should be lightened a little bit to get more drawing here.

I would retouch the light reflections on the power lines.

Their review process is reduced in credibility for this rejection (as well as one they just rejected of mine).  The whole rejection review suggested I'd done massive post production editing and I had not in the least.  It was shot and submitted as is.  Extremely disappointed in the rejection as it was my very first one.
