The swirls look like some kind of special effects filter was used. Even if done by hand, adding special effects is never recommended. Let the buyer do that if they want to edit the image.

Hi daniellei4510,

Yes I use filters as I mention above. I just want to convert my some photos to turn into illustration. Those are my some tryings.

Thanks for your reply

Did you by chance use Photoshop filters for any of this?  Read the DOs & DONTs section of your Stock Contributor User Guide.

Don’t: Add sunrays or flares.

Don’t: Create mirrored images, kaleidoscopes, or patterns.

Don’t: Use effect filters.

Don’t: Add vignettes or frames.

Did you use Generative Fill for any of this?  If yes, you must clean it up and resubmit as Generative AI.

Adobe Stock customers expect the highest visual and technical quality for use in commercial projects. Nothing less will do.

More tips can be found in your Stock Contributor User Guide below.

Good luck.

Hi,

Nancy as a photographer I sometimes do illustration and I always use filters to convert my photos and they accepted them. Anyway, I am not graphic designer and don't use illustrator. So how they accepted the my files?

Thanks for your info

There are drawing errors. Even in illustrations, the details matter. Adobe Stock is not an art gallery; it is a source for images for use in commercial applications.

Hi @Cem Kurtuluş ,

The illustration is beautiful, however there are foreign things sticking out of the bird. For example the sticks protruding from its rear as shown here.

There is not a clear defined margin between the bird and other elements. Also I am not sure if the background contour line effect would be a cause for refusal. For an artwork display, that would be fine, but in my opinion for stock it would not attract high sales potential. Please note that you are basically producing raw material for others to use for their projects.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Hi Jacquelin,

This is not a photograph but an illustration so it does not have to be realistic. Actually backgorud countor is the thing that öake this illustration good. This illustration can be a raw material for anyone but sometimes I could not understand the mentality of adobe stock's evaluation.

Thanks any way for your comments.

This is an example of an illustration. Notice the sharp lines and clean edges.  This is best achieved in Illustrator or a similar vector graphics editor and saved as .ai, .eps or .svg.  The advantage in using math-based vectors for illustrations is that quality is preserved at any size, big or small.  You can't do that with JPG or PNG from Photoshop.
