Rejected Image Frustration

Honestly not sure why so many of my shots are getting rejected. I've been submitting mainly landscapes, flowers, and foliage. Please see attached for the latest rejection that for sure should meet quality standards.

Anyone also notice that sometimes a rejected image can be resubmitted and subsequently approved?

very odd.

Shadows are underexposed and depth of field is too shallow, causing most of the image to be of focus. As @Nancy OShea indicated, the categories of flowers and foliage are very over-represented in Adobe Stock, and the likelihood of ever achieving a sale is remote.

On this page:

Adobe specifically states:

"Also, note that common subjects like flowers, pets, sunsets, and food are already heavily represented on Adobe Stock, so if you submit content for these categories, make sure they’re unique."

I recommend looking for photographic subjects that aren't so saturated already.

Adobe Stock has millions & millions & millions of plants, flowers & trees.  Even if yours gets accepted, the competition to be seen much less noticed & sold is very low.

Your image has uneven lighting and focus problems. Compare with other Stock inventory in this keyword category.    Which would you buy?

I think the soft focus is the point. I just think it's odd they rejected
this and accepted the goofy picture of a diner omelet I submitted as a
test...
