Rejected photos

Hello! I would like to know the reason why this photograph was rejected. I am a new contributor and I want to learn! Thanks for your reply!

Hi,

In my opinion, all three have exposure issues (too flat, blown out highlights,...)

#1 The cat's face looks like it was oversharpened to make up for lack of proper focus. Artifacts in the darkest areas:

#2 Blown out highlights and spots that should be cloned out:

#3 Not much is in sharp focus. Specifically, the cat's right eye should be sharp.
