Rejected Photos Retained.

I'm new to this forum. Does anyone why Adobe keeps rejected photos on file. I can delete accepted photos but not those rejected. I understand on possibility is for contributor's to use rejected photos for future reference, but should'nt that be the contributor's decision - to retain or reject.

The full resolution picture is deleted but a small preview with the rejection reason is kept. That's a choice Adobe took. I prefer that to others where you need to keep trace of the rejected pictures and the rejection reason on yourself.

For me it is an incentive to keep that number as small as possible compared to the accepted stack. As for the accepted images, those are visible to potential buyers, so a possibility to remove the picture from public view is absolutely necessary.

    Why do they keep it on file? That's how it is. It doesn't really matter as it is only visible to you and the Adobe staff who run the contributor section. So, why worry? May be useful to know what has been rejected, and a good reference for the contributor - is it not?
