Hi,

I am new here.

I have submitted my first photos, from a trip in Myanmar They have been rejected due to technical issues.

As I want to improve for the future, could you please let me know what is wrong and what I should do to reach a better quality, what to focus on and see my photos accepetd later on.

Thank you so much for your kind answers

The first picture shows washed out colours and details, probably due to excessive processing. You really need to try to keep the details. Pictures like that, however, need to be taken with care and relatively high quality cameras.

The second picture has blown out areas around the head and feet. Indeed the light contrast is very high and most cameras can't capture the whole dynamic of the scene.

I do not think that for both pictures you can do something, if those are the originals at your disposal. Keep them for what they are: your personal memories. They are pleasant pictures but not suited for stock photography.
