Question

rejection

Rejection rate is way too high to justify wasting anytime on stock images. I have been using AI to make images, and I get that is perceived as “easy”, but some images might take me 30 mins + to get them how I want.

I thought I would make some images for drink driving, and specifically thought it would be a cool idea to make a wine glass as a warning light, like you get a check engine light on your dash. I thought someone might like to use this image in an article about drink driving or something.

I made two versions of the same image, one where you see the wine glass symbol and the speedo. Second one, which I consider far better, is the same image, but its in double vision like a drunk person is looking at it. IMO, the second image with the double vision is far superior to the first image.

After I made them I thought to myself, there is no way these get rejected, its definitely an original idea that I just came up with. I see my email today, the focused shot has been accepted, the double vision shot has been rejected for “quality issues”. There are no quality issues, its the same image, just with a double vision drunk effect, I even tagged it saying double vision and beer goggles.

Did an adobe mod, look at my image and think the double vision was a mistake or graphical glitch? You would have to have a seriously low IQ to think that. Makes me wonder if they speak English and even read the tags I put or understood what the image was about - or its ai rejecting my image.

Zero point in uploading to this site. I’m making unique images, not garbage, and have a 50% rejection rate still. There is no way in the world this would ever be financially viable /. worth anyone’s time.

Image attached. Tell me how this is bad or poor quality. Oh the original is 5mb, another sign of a poor quality image? I had to downscale it to upload here and show you.

No wonder adobe is a dying software with a cratering stock price. Even the CEO ran away.

    Isn’t the speedometer backwards?

Gimmicks & fancy filters don’t sell assets. Quite the opposite, they push customers away.

Customers want high quality commercial content that can be used multiple ways.

Do: Process your images subtly: clean color images that are in focus sell well.

    Don’t: Add sunrays or flares.

Don’t: Create mirrored images, kaleidoscopes, or patterns.

    Don’t: Use special effect filters.

That’s why your content was rejected.

Be it right or wrong, I think the general consensus is, if the buyer wanted a double exposure effect, they’d do it themselves.
