Question

rejection

It is REALLY a QUALITY issue with my submissions or is there just too much stuff submitted that they auto-reject nowadays?

I’ve been an illustrator and painter for 35 years, I earned my living as it since 18. Vector graphics is just a small part of my work and these are for fun. I never got rejections before and I know how it works, Im sure I meet all standards and my submissions are definitely not low quality so question is….

IS there a technical issue with my files or has time changed so this is no longer a viable option because they get so much ai crap and reject everything?

Here are some low res raster versions of what I submitted.

Attached is a single vector file with one of the submission just in case anyone could be kind enough to quickly check if there was anything wrong like open forms or something, im sure there’s not.

Signatures on artwork are not allowed.  Otherwise, I see no reasons for refusal.

Your illustrations are visually interesting slices of life with accurate perspectives & good details. I think they’ll be accepted on 2nd review if you remove the signatures.

    Good luck.

The reasons for rejection are listed for each asset.
    What does the text say?

No its just the generic Quality issues. That’s what makes me think they just don’t care anymore and just auto reject because of AI flood. If it had been maybe something like IP copyright whatever maybe a different text but quality...i dunno.

Moderators can only pick one reason for rejection when there might be more than one. And it isn’t unusual for them to sometimes pick the wrong reason entirely. Resubmit without the signatures and see what happens.

Don’t submit any asset with a signature!

Names and signs used in your graphics may result in an IP rejection.

Understood with the signature, that was an oversight and I did submit with them so I’ll remove that. when on subject of ip. These are actual places, do you have any knowledge of recognizable landmarks? My illustrations always portrait the real place but for 100 years ago so even if the buildings exist today they’re different. I don’t know about this.

Your work is absolutely awesome, I love it and suspect buyers looking for it would too.

If you submitted these pieces with your signature it will automatically get rejected.

Your first question is what everyone is wondering….  “

is there just too much stuff submitted that they auto-reject nowadays?”  no one really knows and

it’s getting out of control. I submitted 60+ photos and videos (no AI)  one was approved this morning about 12 pending and the rest rejected… The collective human time waste is astonishing. The worst part is that when I resubmit tomorrow, most of it will get accepted and soon sale, it’s happened too often.

My opinion is that it has to be AI prescreening related. I’m hoping that it gets sorted out soon.

What I’m doing to mitigate is save all my titles and key words so that when I resubmit it’s only a copy and paste.

    Again, I LOVE your work!

Thank you! I was not expecting feedback so that’s a bonus. But good to know, the signature might be it. I’ll add that to my change list.

Oh and to your own submission protocol, what I do is export settings from Adobe bridge and just paste in on all my files at once, then change just the title and stuff for each. my stuff always have much in common so its a formula.

I assume you aren’t submitting these with your watermark, correct?
