Rejection due quality issues

Hi everyone,

Can anyone point me to the issues, that led to the refusal of this submission?

I have an idea, but it would help to get you opinion. Also this picture has been accepted by other microstocks.

Look at the photo at 250% and you can see artifacts around the edges of the rocks.

Having a picture accepted with other stock providers is not a guarantee to get the same here through. That share is inadequate to be able to fully appreciate the picture, as I do not know the zoom level, and I can't look into the histogram. There may be colour clipping in the water reflections, lower left. The picture may have contrast issues. All in all, it is probably one of the good pictures, so tweaking the contrast will most likely help.

Ok, it seems to be better to upload the picture then.

Of course I'm aware that sometimes pictures get accepted at other places and the other way around. Sometimes there seem to be a fine line of what is acceptable, or other inspectors oversee some problematic spots. As for the color clipping - that is hard to say, since there was some oil on the water in real life.
